Edit the account and replace both server names with the exact hostname from Step 1. If you want to use <code class=\"\" data-line=\"\">mail.yourdomain.com<\/code>, run AutoSSL under <strong>SSL\/TLS Status<\/strong> in cPanel first so the <code class=\"\" data-line=\"\">mail.<\/code> subdomain gets a valid certificate. Clicking <strong>Yes<\/strong> to continue makes the warning come back every time Outlook starts.<\/p>\n<h3>The user name or password for mail.yourdomain.com is incorrect<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Cause:<\/strong> The username is missing the <code class=\"\" data-line=\"\">@yourdomain.com<\/code> part, the cPanel account password was used instead of the mailbox password, or the server has temporarily blocked your IP after repeated failed logins.
